Disable data sending.
You can stop contributing to WP Footprint Pulse at any time. Existing data can also be deleted.
1. Disable sending
- Log into your WordPress admin.
- Go to WP Footprint → Settings.
- Uncheck the "Contribute to WP Footprint Pulse" box.
- Save.
From this disabling onwards, no new data is sent to WP Footprint Pulse.
2. Erase your existing data
To erase all data your previous scans contributed to WP Footprint Pulse:
- Automatic method: uninstall the plugin (Plugins → Uninstall). The plugin automatically calls WP Footprint Pulse to request deletion of your identifier.
- Manual method: send your random identifier (visible in the plugin settings) to [email protected]. We will delete it within 30 days.
Note: only your contributions identifiable by your site_hash are deleted. The anonymous aggregations in which your measurements have been blended (medians per version) remain — they no longer contain any information about you.
3. Uninstalling the plugin without ever sharing
If you never opted in, there is nothing to disable — no data has left your site. Uninstalling then sends no request.
